"Mallu by birth & Oriya by nurture" is what describe me best. My upbringing in a cosmo culture exposed me to various cuisines at an early age and I developed an affinity for them all. I could cook & even bake many recipes long before I decided on Hotel Management for a career. Started off my career in 1996 as a Trainee Chef at The Park Hotel in Delhi & worked across all the various kitchens to eventually become a Pastry Chef at the hotel.
Have been in Hotel Marketing for over a decade, during which I have worked in multiple locations in India & abroad. With every stint I got exposed to the cuisines of the region and its finer nuances. Understanding them became a professional necessity and personal passion which helped me go one step further to comprehend the evolution of the cuisine and the reasons for its current status.
